Yum.  The Pizzadilla.  Part pizza, part quesadilla, all delicious.  It truly was a beautiful day when I first saw the pizzadilla on the menu of a small cafe.  I ordered it with no regrets.  And have since taken to making them at home.  Just as easy to make as they are delicious to eat!!!

You will need:

– Tortillas

– Pizza Sauce

– Cheese (I like to use Mexican blend in the middle and pizza blend on top)

– Toppings!  (We used spinach and green peppers…and LOTS of cheese!)

Start out with one tortilla, and add your “middle” cheese layer.

Here comes tortilla number 2!  Now you’re going to spread sauce on the top.

Add your top layer of cheese, and then toppings!  …I went a little crazy with the cheese…

Put the assembled pizzadilla into the oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit and bake until the cheese is melty and starts to get golden brown.

Goodness!  Now I’m hungry!  These are so tasty and so easy to make.  If you have kiddos, it’s always fun to let them do their own toppings.  You could make shapes or silly faces out of veggies or meat.  And who doesn’t love double cheese?  What would your custom pizzadilla have on it?  Comment below, share on our Facebook page, or post a picture on Instagram @kniftycraftyandcute

Happy eating! <3 Caitlyn
