Easy Pickled Radishes

Easy Pickled Radishes

I was feeling like making something summer-themed.  Nothing screams picnics and summer like pickles.  This was my first time experimenting with pickling, and it was so much fun!  These easy pickled radishes are sweet and tangy. The lovely pink color they turned is delightful!  Now that I know how easy pickling is, I can’t wait to experiment with more vegetables!

You will need:

– Thinly sliced radishes

– 1 cup apple cider vinegar

– 1 cup white sugar

– 1.5 tsp salt

– Glass jar

Put your sliced radishes into the glass jar

In another dish, whisk together the vinegar, sugar, and salt

Pour the vinegar mixture over your radishes, put the lid on the jar, and shake.

Let it sit in the fridge overnight; give at least one good shake before bed.  Once the sugar fully dissolves, it turns a gorgeous pink color.  So pretty!  And how easy is that?!
